I’m finding the project fun and a great networking experience as well - I’ve run into quite a few good blogs I may not have run into otherwise. Seems like a silly gimmick to me - is it really the point to be recognized among a bunch of other bloggers? Parece-me um idiota gimmick - é que é realmente o ponto de ser reconhecido entre um grupo de outros blogueiros?
I would much rather have people outside the “blogosphere” paying attention to what I write than someone who probably reads dozens of blogs a day and doesn’t have the time or interest to frequent mine… Devo dizer que preferia ter as pessoas fora da "blogosfera" prestar atenção ao que eu escrevo do que alguém que lê provavelmente dezenas de blogs por dia e não tem o tempo ou interesse para frequentes mina…

It has been two months and I am still trying to increase the traffic to my web-site. Tem-se dois meses e ainda estou a tentar aumentar o tráfego para o meu web-site. Silly, maybe, maybe even a gimmick, but participating in other parts of the blogosphere is part of having a blog. Silly, talvez, talvez até mesmo um gimmick, mas participam em outras partes da blogosfera é parte de ter um blog. If you’re just looking to get people outside the blogosphere, you’re better off putting a content management system on your site. Technorati blocked a lot of the links from counting towards you, even though linking to the faces was something only about 10% of those participating did, and was not one of the requirements. Most great (successful) marketing campaigns are gimmicks of one kind or another. A maior parte dos grandes (com êxito) campanhas publicitárias são truques de um ou outro tipo. After all, what does a lizard or a caveman have to do with car insurance? Afinal, o que faz um lagarto ou um Caveman têm a ver com o seguro automóvel? Marketing is all about the gimmick. Marketing é tudo sobre o gimmick. Budweiser did a great commercial for the superbowl one year when the Clydesdale horses were playing foot ball. Again, nothing to do with beer but a great gimmick that got people talking (and thinking) about the Bud commercial.
