I just started up a blog 12 days ago and am writing about health issues which interest me a great deal. I have a belief that one will not see substantial traffic for several months. The only true way to get a lot of blog traffic is to write quality content. If you are writing because you want the ad revenue, you are doomed to fail, but if you write first and foremost because you love to write and produce quality content at the same time, eventually you will get lots of visitors and revenue.
