Beste Safari Drie,
Nothing compares to you. When I’m with Internet Explorer, it’s only when I am on a business trip in an XP window. Safari, hell, even Opera means nothing to me.
They’re just quick diversions that I use like hoes so that I won’t taint you with my side activities, video fetishes and quick, personal work that has nothing to do with business or what we have together. I don’t want you remembering some of the windows I used to go to in Safari. If you play Real Player videos better, or zoom the way I like it, I would be willing to talk about not making Opera my side fling.
Safari, I gave it a shot when I had to upgrade or start using Firefox exclusively again. I tried. It’s just not working.
And it’s not me. It’s you.

[…] wrote an interesting post today!.Here’s a quick excerpt Dear Safari Three, I Detest You. You and I had such a good thing going. It’s true, I didn’t ever like your illogical bookmarking arrangement, or the fact that you would suddenly crash for no reason, when nothing else was open. But your interface was cleaner, and we could maintain a separate relationship on the side when I didn’t feel like opening up Firefox. I’m sure you know you would never take his place. You seemed… happy… during our torrid affair. I don’t know if it’s a […]

I feel *precisely* the same way about Safari these days. The interesting thing is that a browser inspires such passion in the likes of you and me. To reiterate your line that made me laugh out loud: “And it’s not me. It’s you.”
Beautiful.

Hey Ann,
Great to see you around here! Maybe because we work and play online a lot, the browser makes us feel the same way as a faulty tube in a TV does for people who work and watch a lot of TV.
Glad I could make you laugh out loud!

Keiron,
Thanks for coming by. I’m thinking about trying Thunderbird. I keep forgetting to see if they have it for the Mac or if I’d have to fire up Windows to use it.
“name”,
I’ve never tried that. I like Opera, he’s very handsome and clean-cut. But for some reason, I’m in love with Firefox.

We developers struggle with Safari too: http://blog.i-together.com/2007/11/28/safari-internet-explorer-fixes-released/
Damn that browser! It’s just so dumb sometimes.

OMG - Hi Jof!
I’m loving the new Blog Friends. It even seemed to like my feed at some point during the beta, but it’s telling me the items are empty again. I think that’s everything that uses Magpie though, so it’s not you apparently, it’s me.
I just read the post and I had no idea what you folks were going through. Drag.
