Over the past 15 years, I’ve been dealing with a far less serious illness, though, unlike Marty, it has been in a totally unbrave, whiny way :). It’s very hard for me to talk about so I don’t, unless I absolutely have to say something to prove that I’m not a flake, or to ask for help. In revealing a very personal side to his struggle to become healthy again, he is raising awareness both of Lymphoma, and of the event being held in New York next week to battle it.
