One type of credit card?

Only on Tuesdays?

No. That would be crazy. You’d be leaving money on the table.

Would you target traffic from Google only? Or just Google Blog search, Google News? Or would you want traffic from many Google properties, as many as possible?

The same thing can be said for marketing. You can’t be solely concentrated on blogging for traffic or sales , and expect great results. Yes, you can do well, and it can impact your sales, or clicks on your ads, but there’s a specific set up you need to use to get good sales or ad results from the traffic that comes.

You can’t pursue SEO only, or social media traffic alone, or even just rely on affiliates or soley on joint ventures.

You shouldn’t exclusively do PDF giveaways, or exclusively press releases, or just article marketing, and expect to be successful.

These are all great techniques for traffic, don’t get me wrong, You must put together a formula for success. It will be different for every site, although certain traffic methods are universal.

    The wider the net you cast, the more fish you’ll catch. I laugh when I hear self styled seo experts say that they don’t care about MSN or Yahoo traffic, they don’t participate in social networks, etc. So what they don’t deliver near the same amout of traffic as google does. I equate it to found money. Most of us would bend down to pick up a dollar in the street, right? Same thing applies here. Make the effort and pick up the extra traffic.

    Tina, as I always say when running sales seminars, you cannot afford to be a one trick pony. Not only are you losing potential readers and business but you lay yourself open to losing all of your business if for some reason your one approach fails.
