So I’m watching Oprah the other day, Friday I think. It was the episode updating viewers on the status of her journey to South Africa, and what she and her incredible Angel network did for the children there. I cried like a little baby, and so did my sister. We were so happy for them.
The Angel Network has helped people all over the world, raising over $17 millon dollars to date. They take donations of every size, and you can even donate online!
Personally, I was so moved by the work they were doing in South Africa that I donated all my profits from Christmas day, which will be in addition to a percentage of my proceeds last week. If you want to be inspired by a child’s will to learn, I suggest tuning in the next time it is repeated on air.

Non-profit Sundays is about many of us getting together to make a small difference, regardles of religious, spiritual or business affiliation. It’s truly amazing how many lives you can touch if you’re just willing to do a little bit once a week. And it’s even more amazing how opening your heart in this particular way can make a difference in your life.
