It’s been a while since I did a Search Engine Day that was constructed around answering a question or proposing a solution. So today, much of our discussion is going to be focused around linking.
We’ll answer the following questions today:
- Is linking is important to search rankings in general?
- Are there specific ways to link that can get you preferential treatment in search engines,
- Are some links better than others?
- How Can You Incorporate Link Strategies into Other Website Promotion and Search Engine Techniques?
- Should You Go for Quantity or Quality of Links?
- Are Links the Only Thing, One of the Most Important Things, Or One of Many Things?
I’ll be spreading this information out over the course of my posting action, possibly the next several hours, ending in an informative podcast about one method you can use to increase links to your site that puts you in total control of the results.
