So soon after I made such a fuss about how kick-@ss Google Web Comments is, I’m shamefully made to eat (some) of my words in public.
rant >
I love you, Google. Honest.
But what is up with this no-count, shifty-eyed, lazy add comments interface? I type my words in the box according to all the rules, I press publish and… voila. Junk in my blog trunk.
And not the good kind, neither.
So one of two things has to happen, Google, my love.
Either the add comment link in Web comments has to be just a teensy bit more like the Blog This! interface?
Or you have to write me some kind of disclaimer saying that it doesn’t work.
Although….
Not to be finicky over a tool that is free and all?
But why add the functionality if it doesn’t, you know, function?

Resources : I would say Google Web Comments, but I’m still post-ranty. You can read my original post on the subject, though.
