See them sexy links just under the listing, taking up all that premium real estate? Google calls them Site Links, and yesterday explained where the heck the get them from, and why our sites may not get to play,….

Our process for generating Sitelinks is completely automated. We show them when we think they’ll be most useful to searchers, saving them time from hunting through web pages to find the information they are looking for. Over time, we may look for ways to incorporate input from webmasters too.

My Own Wild Theories and Speculation

I think the Site Links thing is just ultra cool and shaggalicious. The mention of the fact that it is 1 - automated and 2 - are culled from analytcs done on the structure of a site, makes me think that if we compare sites like FDIC, and Promotion World, we might figure out how to structure our sites in such a way that we might get that kind of kudos too?

Hmmmm. I do notice something both sites have in common right away…. grr baby. Grr.
