Tool Time Friday | Firefox add-on you can’t do without
Hey, You're New Here! We love new people.

Firefox’s ‘MeasureIt’ is useful and very easy to use.
It places a small ruler icon at the left side of your status bar and when you click on the icon you get a crosshair cursor and your browsing page fades out. MOve over to the desired area or object you want to measure and drag out a box over it - the width and height of the box will be displayed in pixels close to the box. To get out of MeasureIt, use the Escape key and the page reverts back to normal.
Simple. And that suits me fine.

Kimchi - Thanks for commenting - however, I’m MorganLighter and if you look at the pictures of who authors this site, you’ll find I’m not a woman.
woops, my apologies Morgan! My sister is named Morgan, so I just kind of assume. At any rate, thanks for the tips!
Kimchi - No problem. A lot of people make that mistake. I even get junk mail addressed to Ms. Morgan Lighter. Anyway - think nothing of it, just wanted you to know.
Really useful plugin, but there r many many more great add-ons on FF, thanks for sharing.
Franca Richard,
Yes, it’s true that there are other FireFox add-ons which, in your opinion, are better - not everyone can come in first.
