Namely, they aren’t working on WordPress, at least not in later units. I have the same problem.

Thought maybe Google had to come by and spider my site but

A- the site I was testing it on at Lockergnome has been displaying AdSense for months and
B- I picked a specific content provider. So theoretically, why would Google need to spider anything?

Anyone else having this problem?

*Updated: After getting a comment about this, I was able to make the code work as ad code (outside a post, by editing a template page or using a plugin like AdSense Injection) but not as content (within a post).

We’re running WP 2.2.1. The comment was from someone using WP 2.2.3. No reports of a successful run as either content or ad code within a template on 2.3 as yet.

  4. I upgraded to WordPress 2.3 when I couldn’t get the Video Unit to work in 2.2.2.

Same result - no YouTube player displays.

I think it must be my theme (K2 0.9.6).

  5. Could be. I was thinking it was my theme, but then why can I post regular YouTube videos? I have it working as ads at the bottom of a page, but it won’t show up as content within a post.

  6. Thanks, that should come in handy. Your comment was originally caught by the filters because of the link.
